Booking conditions
Duration of the stay in a gite : from Saturday 4 :00 p.m. to Saturday 10 :00 a.m. Weekend rental is for 2 days/2 nights from Friday 6 :00 p.m. to Sunday 6 :00 p.m.or from Saturday 4 :00 p.m. to Monday 6 :00 p.m. for Oise booking service.
Prices are mentioned for one week. They include water, electricity 8 kw/h per day, and gas (when gas is used) according to the quantity mentioned in the form ; you must pay extra if you exceed this quantity.
Heating is not included, unless stated differently (price followed by : *). It is asked at the arrival.
Guarantee : the owner may ask you to pay a guarantee (the amount is written on the form).
If the number of tenants exceeds the maximum mentioned in this booklet, the owner is free not to accept redundant tenants, ask for supplement or to cancel the form.
Animals : The enclosed description and or the contract. Ask the booking service for further information. The description and/or rental contract will specify whether or not you can bring a pet with you. If you violate this condition the owner can refuse to allow you to stay. If you want to bring more than one pet please check first with the central booking agency or with the owner in the case of properties rented directly.
Tenant's insurance : please contact your usual insurance company and check if your contract covers damage incurred at the gite during your stay. It is necessary to ask for the owner's consent if you want to bring a pet with you for the booking service.
Inventory : an inventory must be drawn up jointly and signed by the tenant and owne, or his representative, on arrival and departure. This inventory constitutes the sole reference in the event of a dispute over the inventory. The state of cleanliness of the accomodation on the tenant's arrival must be noted in the inventory.
Cleaning : It is up to guests to clean and look after the property, when staying in the cottage and on departure. The cottage must be left in the same state as you found it. Some owners can arrange cleaning for you, indicated by « option ménage » in the description. Both parties should check the inventory and the state of the property together. If necessary a charge will be made for any additional cleaning costs incurred. Similarly, the guest is entitled to ask for the cottage to be cleaned again, if on arrival, the accomodation is not satisfactorily clean.
Should there be a conflict : On housework, « the Relais des Gîtes de France » and booking agency do not intervene. It will only interverne if the form to rent the house has been signed by both the owner or booking service and the tenant. In case of discrepancies between the description and reality of the gite, the claims will be taken into account only if these claims are reported to the « Relais des Gîtes de France » during the first two days of your occupation.
Please add 5€ to each payment made abroad to cover bank charges. Aisne and Oise tourist boards do not accept them.
HOW TO BOOK?

Call or write the owner whose particulars are listed amoung the specifications of the offer you have chosen.
If the offer stands, the owner will send you a Gîtes de France booking contract and a specification document. Booking comes into effect as soon as said contract is returned to the owner (within the deadline mentioned in the contract) together with a deposit cheque for 25% of the total rental rate, the balance to be paid upon your arrival.
